Flights to Varna, a city in northeastern Bulgaria

Varna is a city in the northeastern part of Bulgaria, situated at the Bulgarian seaside. It is the center of the homonymous municipality and district and with its 334,870 inhabitants is the third largest city in the country.

In the city is located the headquarters of the State Agency "Maritime Administration" and the Admiralty of the Bulgarian army. Varna is a major cultural center with developed marine tourism and the starting point for the Northern Black Sea resorts. "Fraport Twin Star Airport Management" - In late 2006 the German-Bulgarian consortium of the world's leading airport operator Fraport AG and the Bulgarian logistics company BM Star won the concession for the airports in Varna and Burgas - gateway to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast . The concession is for a period of 35 years within which the company will operate and invest in the development of the two marine airports – Varna and Burgas.
