Kiev (Ukrainian: Kiїv) is the capital and largest city of Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Kiev area, although it does not come into it, but is a separate administrative unit. Situated at the mouth of the Dnieper River and Desna and is one of the main ports in the country. The population is 2,860,400 people by 2006Art and architecture of Kiev are world treasures. Boryspil International Airport is the largest airport in Ukraine. It is located 6 km west of Boryspil and 29 km from Kiev. Boryspil International Airport serves the majority of international flights. The airport has five terminals: Terminal A serves domestic flights, Terminal B serves international flights and Terminal C is used for VIP and business jets, Terminal D has a capacity of 3,100 people per hour, and Terminal F is designed for flights of low cost airlines and is t he HUB of Ukraine International Airlines. Airlines flying to Boryspil are Aer Lingus, Air France, Alitialia, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, KLM, LOT, Lufthansa, Swiss, Wizz Air.
Boryspil Airport is reached by line № 316, which goes from Boryspil to Kiev Lіvoberezhna and 316e - from Boryspil to Harkіvsyka. In front of the terminals there are moorings for taxis. Their journey to the center of Kiev takes between 20 and 40 minutes.
